Made to be a literary work. A literary work, that is one single artifact.

Two parallel texts: one in English playing on the meaning and connotations and consequences of “Ifs”. The other, facing pages in English, in French, playing on the meaning of “If” in French (a type of tree). Neither is a translation of the other.
