Heretical in some circles…
But: we are all in the process of ‘designing’ human being. I don’t mean AI, or robots, or some hybrids. I mean, through schooling, social policies, laws, impositions of belief systems etc. The crass, concrete, unromanticized design of homo sapiens…
SO, questions arising: how can this type of ‘design’ be conceived. Is it really design in the same vein as other ‘design fields’? Or is the use of that term just provocation.
And how can we fashion desing that leads to liberties, freedoms etc.
What does it really mean to design, or not, humans…
